Supported Accommodation

Welcome to our Supported Accommodation services, designed for young people aged 16 and over. We provide support for those transitioning from care, facing homelessness, or overcoming experiences of trauma, abuse, neglect, or other challenges that have disrupted their path to independence.

At the heart of our work is a commitment to nurturing independence, fostering personal growth, and guiding each individual towards a stable and purposeful future. Regulated by the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills (Ofsted), our services uphold the highest standards of excellence, accountability, and quality care.

Our homes offer safe, structured, and nurturing environments with staff available around the clock. Through predictable routines, trauma-informed support, and personalised coaching, we help young people develop the confidence and life skills necessary for adulthood.

What the Service Provides:

Individual Support and Planning

Every young person has a personalised support plan with clear outcomes linked to their Pathway Plan and any Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Progress is reviewed regularly, and support is adapted as needs evolve. SMART goals guide our practice, and all actions and outcomes are recorded in Lief to demonstrate measurable progress.

Independent Living Skills

We help young people build independence through practical skill development:

  • Financial Skills: Budgeting, banking, shopping, and cooking

  • Household Management: Cleaning, home maintenance, and tenancy readiness

  • Life Management: Managing bills, utilities, appointments, and time-keeping

  • Digital Skills: Online safety, community engagement, and travel planning

  • Progressive Learning: Guided practice, shared practice, and independent practice with light-touch reviews

Daily Structure and Meaningful Activity

All young people are encouraged to participate in education, training, or employment (EET). For those not yet in EET, we create structured daily timetables that include learning, volunteering, and careers development. Our staff work closely with schools, colleges, and training providers to support re-engagement and consistent attendance.

Health, Culture, and Identity

We promote physical and emotional wellbeing, supporting registration with GPs, dentists, and opticians. Our approach is guided by cultural humility — encouraging connection with community and faith groups where desired and supporting safe family contact when it benefits the young person.

Quality Assurance and Performance:

We maintain rigorous standards of safety, quality, and accountability across all our homes. Performance is monitored through regular supervision, audits, and feedback from young people and professionals. Insights from inspections, incidents, and reviews inform continuous improvements in care delivery, ensuring outcomes are both measurable and meaningful. Our focus is always on providing consistent, evidence-based support that transforms lives.

Referrals and Next Steps:

We welcome referrals for young people aged 16 and above who would benefit from supported accommodation. Our placements team collaborates closely with local authorities, leaving-care services, and partner agencies to ensure every placement is safe, appropriate, and outcome-focused.
